This isn't flavored vodka, but it is vodka with a surprising amount of flavor! It's clean and just barely sweet, with an almost creamy texture that comes from using potatoes, rather than grain, as the base. Boyd & Blair buys the potatoes from local farms and bottle only the best and smallest part of the distilling run, discarding a significant portion of the "heads" (the first part distilled) and the tails (the last part).
When co-founders and distillers Prentiss Orr and Barry Young released their first run of bottles in 2008, it quickly became a hit with bartenders, both for incredible flavor and endless versatility.
