This Oaxacan-inspired cocktail mixer is unlike anything we’ve had before. It’s a unique take on one of our favorite cocktails – the Old Fashioned – and we can’t get enough.
This one of a kind mixer is made with dried Mexican chiles, cocoa nibs and spices, sweetened with raisins and aged with cocoa husks from French Broad Chocolates (another Mouth maker!) in Asheville, NC. Bittermilk recommends mixing it up with tequila or mezcal, in place of the typical whiskey. We know – our Mouths are hanging open, too.
Bittermilk’s hand-crafted cocktail mixer compounds (in gorgeous bottles, to boot), make it easy for the everyday enthusiast to enjoy schmancy drinks, without having to do any of the work. Husband and wife team Joe and MariElena Raya kindly handle it all for you, so you can just come home to unwind.
This bittersweet, rich, slightly-spicy mixer just took happy hour to a whole new level.
