Sure, there’s a game going on, but for us, Super Bowl Sunday is all about the food. Still, between yelling at the television and being such gracious hosts (aka endlessly refilling Solo cups with beer), we usually only have time to make dishes that come together quickly – especially because we always need to re-up at halftime.
Enter our four-layer dip made with sour cream, tomatoes, cilantro and Bacon Jam. Yep: Bacon Jam, people.
Skillet Street Foods’ delectable, salty-sweet Bacon Jam is packed with all the meaty flavor of our favorite breakfast food (sorry, sausage), but saves us the hassle of actually having to cook it. Yay. The smoky bacon is complemented by caramelized onions, a dash of balsamic vinegar and a sweet hit of brown sugar. It’s satisfyingly thick-yet-scoopable – the perfect choice for a layered dip.
And because we’re going for simplicity without sacrificing quality, no other chip will scoop this dip justice other than Off The Cob’s Sweet Corn Tortilla Chips. They’re made with corn that’s picked at peak freshness, resulting in a chip that’s slightly sweet-yet-salty, light but sturdy enough to hold its own next to a layered dip. It’s a-maize-ing.

I Dip, You Dip, We Dip
1 jar bacon jam
1 8-ounce container sour cream
2 tomatoes, diced
½ bunch cilantro, chopped
Off The Cob Sweet Corn Tortilla Chips, for serving
1. Spread a layer of Bacon Jam on the bottom of a shallow bowl or glass Pyrex dish. On top of the Bacon Jam, spread a layer of sour cream, followed by a layer of diced tomatoes, then, finally, a layer of chopped cilantro.
2. Serve alongside a bowl of Sweet Corn Tortilla Chips, or, alternatively, stud the dip with the chips and watch the tackling commence.
