PB Sandwich Hack #5: Goat Cheese + Wildflower Honey

Yes, you heard right: We’re smearing fresh goat cheese on our peanut butter sandwich and topping it all with a drizzle of sweet honey. #LivingOurBestLives

To live your best life, start with a slice of your favorite bread and give it a good smear of your favorite peanut butter. (If our sweet tooth is feeling particularly rowdy, we go with Big Spoon Roasters’ Honeyed Peanut Butter.)

Now comes the creamy goat cheese. We’re obsessed with good-quality goat milk chèvre cheese. Thanks to a mellow, lemony goat’s milk tang, it is simple, crisp and clean, with far less salt than most others.

Drizzle your now harmonious mix of peanut butter and goat cheese with a thin, textured honey, such as TruBee’s Wildflower Summer Tennessee Honey, which is actually free-range, meaning that the bees are free to pollinate in areas that aren’t limited to any one particular tree or flower – instead, they feast on tulip poplar, fruit blossoms and black locust in the spring, then wildflowers, herbs and clover in the summer. It’s totally buzz-worthy.

Finish it all with some sliced, fresh strawberries, because more of a good thing is a very good thing.
