On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… twelve drummers drumming twelve gins a-drumming.
Drumroll, please… Seneca Drums gin made by Finger Lakes Distilling uses wine grapes and 11 botanicals for a standout holiday libation. This show-stopping, parade-worthy bottle uses a grape spirit base which makes for a much richer, more flavorful gin. It’s pretty grape.
The Finger Lakes Distilling story begins in 2007, when Brian McKenzie decided to quit his job as vice president of a community bank and get a whole band of friends together to open a distillery to make their Seneca Drums gin. Since then, FLD has continued to grow and expand their product line without losing the handcrafted, small batch flavors of the Finger Lakes.
Her heart will thump to the beat of these drums. Thump, thump.
So, to recap:
On the twelfth day of Indie Christmas, my small-batch maker gave to me:
Twelve Gins A-Drumming

Ten Kings A-Leaping
Nine Bottles Sparkling
Eight Maids Goat Milking
Seven Swanson ginning

And Our Indie Cocktail Made With Pear (whee!)
