Campfire WhiskeyMADE BY HIGH WEST DISTILLERY IN PARK CITY, UTAH
This whiskey was inspired by a stay at a Scottish bed and breakfast (where else would a distiller go to escape?) and a dessert of sweet honeydew melon drizzled with a smoky, herbal Scotch syrup. It's a distinctive blend of bourbon, rye and scotch – sweet and fruity, with a pronounced hint of smoke, earth and spice.
The bourbon offers up sweetness, a mature rye adds spicy, floral, fruity notes, and peaty Scotch adds that essential hint of smoke. (And of green fields, stone walls and castles! Oh, the peat.)
tip of the tongue
This is the whiskey to pair with fruit desserts or melty s'mores.
Did you know?
Scotch, bourbon and rye are all "whiskey," but bourbon has to be made in the United States, rye comes from either the United States or Canada and Scotch from, um, Scotland.
