Vegan Marshmallows

MADE BY DANDIES IN CHICAGO, ILLINOIS

MOUTH SAYS...

Here at Mouth HQ, we have long maintained that Marshmallows are a vital part of a happy life. There’d be no s’mores, no crispy treats, no sweet potato casseroles and no chubby bunny contests without them. So what are vegans to do? They were left to pout in the corner until Chicago-based food engineer Ryan Howard (who was raising his son vegan) figured out a way to make a marshmallow with all the squish of the original but without all the gelatin. High fructose corn syrup (and all the GMOs that typically tag along with it) were told to keep out too.

Meet Dandies, the better marshmallow! We polished off half a bag straight up before someone threw down the chubby bunny gauntlet. Makeover accomplished.

TIP OF THE TONGUE
We have nothing against making our own s’mores, but we can’t seem to shake the idea of nestling a gooey marshmallow between Nunu’s chocolate-covered graham crackers. Nor should we, really.
