We wanna be BFFs with this Dame.
Following in the tradition of Alsace, this Edelzwicker is a blend of Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris and Bloomer Creek’s own grape, Cayuga White. The result is a dry, refreshing white that’s light on the palate, with intense citrus notes balanced by wet stone, clay and freshly picked flowers. This Riesling blend is exactly what we imagine lime sorbet would taste like, if lime sorbet was wine, of course, and we’re diggin’ it.
The cool climate of New York’s Finger Lakes lends itself to Old World-style winemaking, a practice Bloomer Creek fully celebrates. They don’t use any pesticides or machines, and rely on indigenous yeasts in the winemaking process. As a result, their wines are a little wild – but in that effortless way that defines pure elegance.
We could sip on this one all day, every day. Total BFF.
