Salted Honey Lemon Cashews
Ah, the cashew–the nut we inconspicuously pick out of the deluxe mix all for ourselves–can do no wrong. Plump, roasted and salted cashews in a zingy lemon and honey coating? Well, they’re the bee’s knees, the pig’s wings and the cat’s pajamas all rolled into one.
Inspired by bold flavors (and beer), Chicago-based maker Chris Ferguson dreamt up this combo for his home city’s Craft Beer Week in 2011 and knew it would be mutiny if he didn’t continue to keep them in his lineup. (Even New Yorkers know not to mess with a Chicagoan’s beer and bar snacks.)
TIP OF THE TONGUEThese are great for crunching between swigs of a hoppy IPA or a frothy Hefeweizen, but we also wouldn’t shake a stick at a hard cider like this beaut from Virginia.
