Mouth says...

Got Rotkhol? This Berlin Style sweet and sour pickled cabbage is made in the classic German tradition. That means it’s loaded with nutrient-rich red cabbage, vinegar, a little sugar, and...what’s that familiar sweet taste? Yes, it’s apple juice. The piquant flavor is especially well suited to all sorts of pork, from sausages and crisply seared pork chops to a juicy pork burger.

Tip of the tongue:

Though this is the ideal counterpart for a tender pork roast with some boiled potatoes, you can definitely make it the main event! If you think sauerkraut is great on a sandwich, try a red cabbage reuben on for size. It might stain your bread (and possibly your fingers), but there’s never been a more delicious way to think pink!
