Pomegranate Rose Grenadine

MADE BY CITY OF DAUGHTERS IN MADISON COUNTY, NEW YORK

MOUTH SAYS...

City of Daughters spawned from a famous cocktail bar called Elsa in New York's East Village. After slinging re-imagined takes on classic cocktails since 2008, the husband and wife team behind Elsa (Jay Schneider and Natalka Burian) decided to bring the unique experience of Elsa to everyone's home. Made in Brooklyn with only the finest, freshest ingredients, this is a true grenadine with the brilliant, gorgeous addition of organic rose hips.

Most grenadines found in grocery stores get their red hue from artificial ingredients – City of Daughters gets its red from tart, sweet pomegranate juice, just like the old classic grenadines. And no high fructose corn syrup allowed.

TIP OF THE TONGUE

Mix a classic Jack Rose: 2 ounces applejack, 3/4 ounces Elsa's Rose Hip Grenadine, and 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice. Shake with ice; strain into a chilled glass, coupe preferred. Garnish with a lemon or lime wheel. Cheers!
