This salmon-colored stunner comes from Steve Matthiasson, San Francisco Chronicle’s Winemaker of the Year 2014 and one of our favorite winemakers here at Mouth. It is one of the more graceful rosés we’ve tasted. Sweet aromas of white peach and berries give way to a drier, more delicate flavor that's first floral, then finishes with a rich mineral note that is simply Mouth-watering.

This wine is made with very minimal intervention. For the wine nerds, the grapes are sourced from Windmill Vineyard and Kahn Hillside Vineyard in Sonoma. The grapes are pressed whole-cluster, fermented with native yeast and aged on lees in stainless steel tanks. The wine's not stirred, racked, cold-stabilized or fined, just lightly filtered and bottled, ready for your glass.

The super aromatic 2016 rosé is perfect for any occasion, but be warned  a very limited number of cases were made, so grab a bottle while you can.

When do we not want to drink this rosé? Our favorite pairing so far is roast chicken with a goat cheese and pea green salad.

Made from 36% Grenache, 28% Syrah, 26% Mourvedre and 10% Counoise grapes; 11.2% alcohol by volume. Comes in a 750ml bottle.
