Maple Bourbon Beef Jerky

MADE BY UNCLE ANDY'S JERKY IN FORT COLLINS, COLORADO

MOUTH SAYS...

We really fell for this lumberjack-inspired flavor of Uncle Andy’s beef jerky. Open the bag and inhale sweet booze – yes, that’s bourbon + maple, an intoxicating combo we can’t get enough of.

Maker Andrew Hanenberg smokes his beef over hickory wood, which somehow preserves a stunning red color beneath the rich, tangy-sweet glaze of maple sugar, bourbon and cider vinegar.

It’s not very often that one goes into business making something they’d never really been obsessed with. But Andrew, aka "Uncle Andy," found his taste for American jerky changed as soon as he got a meat slicer and started making his own, with regionally inspired spice blends and marinades. You could say it was love at first slice.

tip of the tongue

We can just about guarantee that one bite’ll knock you over, too. In fact, stick with the trusty maple-bourbon vibe and pair this jerky with Brooklyn Brine’s Maple Bourbon Bread & Butter Pickles for a total KO. And with 8g of protein per serving, this one's got snacktime staying power.
