Indie Cider Trio
Fun fact: Hard cider was the original American beverage – it's basically all the colonial settlers drank! (#Goals.)
We're so excited that this delicious, historical beverage is suddenly popular again that, to celebrate, we picked a bushel of some of our favorites:
Orchard Hill Cider’s Red Label Cider is fairly dry, with plenty of fresh-picked flavor and aroma from a field blend of Crispin, Idared, Empire, Spartan and McIntosh apples. We're big fans of its refreshing Prosecco-like carbonation, with fuzzy, festive bubbles.
Descendant Cider Company Succession Cider is of the semi-dry persuasion – approachable, easy to enjoy, with lots of personality. Very good company, indeed.
Oyster River Winegrowers Hoboken Station Cider is light and refreshing, with plenty of acidity to balance classic apple sweetness. It’s fermented with wild yeasts, which give it a pleasant funkiness.
If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, imagine how healthy you (or a lucky recipient) will be with this Indie Cider Trio taster.
