It’s America’s roast wanted. This 70% single origin chocolate bar features unique tasting notes of almond biscotti and buttery caramel. Thank the beans for that, sourced from Hacienda Azul in Central Costa Rica. Part of the estate’s 2019 harvest, they’re roasted at different temperatures, to create a dynamic range of flavors that highlight the bean’s inherent sweetness. They’re then cracked, ground and tempered in small batches, before being molded and wrapped by hand. Where has this bar bean all our lives?
Tip of the Tongue:
Since Dandelion uses a winemakers approach to crafting chocolate, it only makes sense to pair their bittersweet bar with a full-bodied vino, such as Cabernet or Bordeaux.
