Let’s get saucy! (Hot sauce, that is.) The makers at San Antonio-based Humble House believe that every person “deserves access to fresh healthy food and the knowledge on how to source, buy, cook, and eat that food.” We can get down with that! This fiery habanero hot sauce is made with a chile fruit paste consisting of aji amarillo, golden raisins, dried mango, dried papaya and habaneros. It’s then mixed with apple cider vinegar and a touch of cane sugar and kosher salt. It’s a deep, rich, Latin-inspired Mexican hot sauce that we can’t get enough of. Saucy!
TIP OF THE TONGUE
We love pairing this sweet and fruity hot sauce on tacos (duh), but also in ceviche and mixed into fresh fruit salads…. Or drizzled on watermelon slices! Can you ever have too much hot sauce burn in your food?
