Enamel Chicago-Style Hot Dog PinMADE BY NATE DUVAL IN LONGMEADOW, MASSACHUSETTS
While you might quibble over who serves Chicago’s best hot dog, Nate Duval certainly serves up the city’s best hot dog pin.
Show some love for your favorite top dog and/or pride in the Windy City (Go Cubs, Go!) with this super cute little enamel pin (check out those shades!), created by illustrator and merch-maker extraordinaire Nate Duval who has designed posters for bands like Phish, Spoon and Wilco.
His Chicago-style dog (1.25” with rubber backing) is nestled in a proper poppy seed bun and features everything required to be adequately dragged through the garden: yellow mustard, white onions, sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle, tomato slices and sport peppers. You can even see the requisite dash of celery salt!
Notice something missing? Well, there’s one thing Chicago-style hot dog fans know for sure. Like Dirty Harry said, “NOBODY puts ketchup on a hot dog.”
