Skeleton Chocolate Pops
Celebrate Dia de Muertos (Day of the Dead) this year with deliciously dark chocolate on a stick. Shaped like the holiday’s iconic human skulls (calaveras) – one female skeleton and one male, both dressed to the nines, dusted in silver and purple – these treats are a sweet (ba-dum-dum) way to honor the deceased and the living.
Made with all the soul (alma in Spanish) of founder, Sarah Hart, these dapper, departed skeletons outshine the less inspired, less commemorative Halloween sweets. They come to Mouth as a mixed case of milk and dark chocolate, in different colors (silver, blue, red or pink) so enjoy the surprise of which colorful character arrives.
Dark chocolate, we love you ‘til death do us part!
TIP OF THE TONGUE
Go all out for your Day of the Dead party and stir up an Oaxaca Old-Fashioned (1.5 ounces reposado tequila, ½-ounce mezcal, 1 teaspoon agave nectar, 1 to 2 dashes mole bitters and a swath of orange peel). Simmer chicken or tamales in mole poblano sauce, flavor up some yellow rice with cilantro and lime, and party till you drop.
74% chocolate (sugar, pure cocoa mass, cocoa butter). May contain traces of soy and nuts. Comes as a 2.6 oz pop.
