This is a chocolate bar dear to the makers’ hearts. Chocolate-makers Jael and Dan actually lived in the cacao-rich jungles of Costa Rica for two years, where they opened a small café and became inspired to bring this two-ingredient, robust bar to life. They’re also all about local, organic and sustainable chocolate making (they even have a solar-powered cacao roaster!), and create their confectionary genius in Asheville, North Carolina, near the French Broad River. Hence the name.
