The very best news always pertains to chocolate, and we’ve got some! We’ve teamed up with Brooklyn-based Fine + Raw Chocolate to create three unique truffle bars so good we almost want to keep them all for ourselves. These chunky raw chocolate truffle bars are small in stature, but they’re truffle bars—each one is essentially four individual truffles merged together in one chocolate bar. The most insanely delicious truffles we’ve ever tasted. Confession: We keep one in our desks and have a little slice every time a craving hits. Which is pretty often. 

What’s raw chocolate? It’s made from cacao that’s not roasted, but heated gently, so it’s crazy high in antioxidants (move over bluebs–raw chocolate has like 50x more), with a creamy, dreamy texture that comes from coconut butter. These entirely vegan chocolate bars are super rich and completely dairy-free.

Let’s get into this whole “raw” thing a little bit more. Essentially, it’s about not destroying the food’s enzymes in its preparation. How this whole “raw” process applies to Fine + Raw chocolate, is that rather than being roasted, the chocolate is fermented. Fermentation heats the chocolate, but not hot enough to destroy its raw-ness. Essentially, you’re eating a totally vegan, fermented chocolate that is good for you nutritionally.
