Kate Schade is somewhat of a legend on the slopes of Jackson Hole. After years of shreddin’ fresh pow and making a name for herself as the local ski bum, she finally got sick o lodge food. (Think: nachos with fluorescent cheese and stale peanut m&ms). So in 2010, she set out to make better snacks for herself and her friends, who lovingly referred to her homemade granola bars as “Tram Bars.” Soon, everyone was begging her to sell these lovingly-made treats to everyone, on or off the slopes. Clocking in 8 grams of protein per bar, Kate’s are equally good for an on-the-go breakfast as they are for a lift line re-fuel. Totally gnar’!
