Chile Margarita Spice Mix

Chile Margarita Spice Mix

MADE BY SPICEOLOGIST IN SPOKANE, WASHINGTON

  • $12 for a 9 oz jar

Mouth says...

This is one of the most versatile spice blends we’ve come across.

We love how it’s made with only six ingredients – chile pepper, brown sugar, salt, orange peel, spice and lime oil, a blend that goes with literally everything. Need a dry rub for beef, chicken and pork? Look no further. How about shrimp, salmon and sword fish? Yep. And what about all those vegetables? You bet.

Spiceologist was founded in 2013 by Pete Taylor (a chef) and Heather Scholten (a photographer and designer). The team is all about creating flavorful rubs using only the best ingredients, and serving ‘em up in a beautifully designed package – all things we can get behind.

Needless to say, this gorgeous jar deserves a spot on every spice rack. Or counter.

TIP OF THE TONGUE

Making fried chicken? Try mixing this spice rub into flour. Making margaritas? Swap salt and use this to line your glass instead. The possibilities are endless.
