Organic Chamomile Bitters

MADE BY URBAN MOONSHINE IN BURLINGTON, VERMONT

MOUTH SAYS...

These relaxing and refreshing organic Chamomile Bitters are just as good mixed into a drink as they are taken plain (as maker Jovial King recommends!)

They refresh and relax with just a few spritzes, whetting your palate with what tastes like a concentrated dose of your nightly calming mug of chamomile. The floral top-notes are enhanced by subtle earthy herbal flavors like dandelion and burdock roots, making for a totally unique way to enjoy a favorite tea flavor anytime, anywhere. And we love that they come in a handy spray bottle, so you can spritz them over a cocktail, or even into your mouth for a refreshing burst of flavor!

There's nothing like a well-mixed cocktail, complete with aromatic bitters, to perk you up. But don't forget that bitters were actually originally intended as a refresher in their own right, with countless health benefits ranging from improved liver function and healthier skin to soothing nausea or heartburn and aiding digestion.* That's what Urban Moonshine aims to highlight in their organic bitters and herbal tonics, thereby bringing herbal medicine back into the modern mainstream.

*Mouth can't verify any actual health benefits. But we can vouch for how great it tastes!

Tip of the Tongue

These bitters are a great addition to light refreshing cocktails, like a cucumber vodka cooler: Combine 4 cups water, 1/2 cup granulated sugar and 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lime juice and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Combine with 1 medium chopped cucumber in a blender and blend until smooth, then chill. Add 1 oz Square One Organic Vodka to a tall glass filled with ice. Top with cucumber puree and a spray of chamomile bitters.
