Bourye Whiskey

MADE BY HIGH WEST DISTILLERY IN PARK CITY, UTAH

MOUTH SAYS...

High West's rare blend of premium bourbon and rye is available again after disappearing for years. Bourye has been reborn!

But first: Have you heard of a "jackalope"? Legend has it that the best way to catch this strange creature, (a cross between a jackrabbit and an antelope) is to lure it with whiskey, like this "bourye" (a clever blend of bourbon + rye).

This second-coming Bourye is a little different from the original: 9-year-old straight bourbon, 10-year-old straight rye whiskey and 16-year-old straight rye whiskey are blended to reveal bold rye spice along with traditional sweet bourbon flavors.

The complex spices, deep earthy tones and sharp rye notes pair perfectly with the caramel and vanilla sweetness of the bourbon. The aroma is heavy with caramel, dark fruits and cinnamon. We smell a bit of something new with every glass.

Grab a bottle before it's as rare as a jackalope again.

High West keeps it simple: Sip straight or with a little water, but ice is not recommended. Add a bottle of the younger offspring Son of Bourye to compare tasting notes.
