There are caramels. And then there are these apple cider caramels with rose petals and cocoa nibs. Just, wow. First of all, Little Apple's caramel is made of apple cider, so you have our rapt attention. Then they add in fresh cocoa nibs from their friends at Dick Taylor Chocolate, an award-winning chocolatier in Northern California. And because that isn't enough deliciousness in one bite, the caramels are then sprinkled with dried heirloom rose petals from Little Apple’s organic garden (rose petals!). Don’t think, people, just add to cart.
TIP OF THE TONGUE
Little Apple caramels are as local as it gets. The sourcing of ingredients takes place close to home, using freshly-pressed cider from the heirloom apples grown on the maker’s organic farm in Sonoma. All the butter used in these caramels is local, and each is dusted with the farm’s Pink Pearl apple powder and vanilla bean sea salt. Every caramel is a chance to taste not just a scrumptious sweet treat, but a region and its culture, too.
