Chocolate for brekkie? Like the popular Aussie espresso drink, this buzzy bar contains lots of coffee, and a little bit of cream. Which means no one will look at you slantwise if you indulge in a (very) early dessert! And that’s not the only thing that got our adrenaline pumping here at Mouth. One of our fav indie coffees from Anodyne Coffee Roasting is ground for four hours into a super-fine consistency, before being steeped in full cream milk. So while this is technically white chocolate (being made from cocoa butter instead of beans), the unexpectedly rich confection doesn’t look like it, or even really taste like it. In other words, this is the ideal bar for white chocolate aficionados, those on the fence, or anyone who’s just looking for a java-fueled excuse to chomp chocolate the second they roll out of bed. Now that’s what we call a g’day, mate.
Tip of the Tongue
We’re breaking off a few squares of this bar whenever we need a sweet boost and don’t have time to drink, let alone brew, a cup of coffee.
