Summer foods — so drool-inducing, so short-lived — deserve to be completely and utterly worshipped. Shower them with a salt that makes it clear just how special they are. Here are seven salts that will shake up dinner each beautiful and balmy night of the week.
Monday: You won’t miss a thing on Meatless Monday if you let corn-on-the-cob sprinkled with White Truffle Sea Salt run the show. The truffle’s umami more than satisfies.
Tuesday: Putting a dent in your annual squash glut is a pleasure when a quick “zucchini almondine” gets topped with Lemon Sea Salt. Grill some chicken and you’re eating (darn deliciously) in 20 minutes.
Wednesday: Celebrate the hump by throwing a few steaks seasoned with Bourbon Smoked Sea Salt on the grill and opening a bottle of California-grown Nebbiolo. So much better than a night out.
