Unless you live under a social media-free rock, you’ve been seeing pictures and recipes for frosé (frozen rosé) everywhere. Well, we’re here to let you in on a little secret: Yes, frosé looks pretty and is punny and super Instagrammable, but it tastes like slightly sweet, bland shards of ice and gives you brain freeze.
There, we said it.
We’re on a mission to help you save yourself from wasting a bottle of rosé by turning it into icy slush, ruining everything you love about it on its own, by giving you our version of summer’s sexiest sipper: the Rosé Bouquet.
It’s made with rosé (obvs), smooth vodka, seltzer and – the secret ingredient – a cocktail mixer made with tart grapefruit and smoky hibiscus tea. It is, hands down, one of the best pre-made cocktail mixers we’ve come across and you should always have a bottle in your fridge door.
And the best part? You can easily mix up a Rosé Bouquet right before drinking, so each glass will be fresh, fizzy and mega Mouth-watering. Yes, way.
- In a cocktail glass filled with ice, combine vodka, cocktail mixer, rosé and soda water. Mix to combine.
- If you like, garnish with a sprig of mint and grapefruit slice.
Still thirsty? Check out the rest of our summer cocktail recipes. (Lately we’ve been crushing on the Mello Limoncello, a citrusy, Italian-inspired aperitivo that will whisk you away on a Vespa and take you back to that hot summer night where you had your first kiss after OD'ing on lemon sorbetto at the fair. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.)
