New York Times' FloFab Gets Bubbly About Champagne Marshmallows

Florence Fabricant, longtime Mouth fan and food critic for The New York Times, is bubbly over the swanky and sparkling Gold + Champagne Marshmallows made by Wondermade in Orlando, Florida.

Do not consider these for your s’mores. Luxurious gold-dusted marshmallows with a soupçon of wine in their flavor deserve to adorn a holiday mince pie, a festive roulade or an ice cream confection. Set them adrift on steaming mugs of celebratory hot chocolate spiked with brandy, and they will leave golden traces as they melt."

Sparkling with 24-karat edible gold, these handmade bite-sized treats infused with the delicate taste of Champagne are, hands down, the most elegant marshmallows we’ve ever come across. Everyone at Mouth flipped out when these first came across our tasting table this year.

These champagne pillows are crafted by Wondermade, aka husband-and-wife team Nathan and Jenn in Orlando, Florida. They’re made with love and care (and no corn syrup!), so they're a purely fun sweet you can feel good about. The box is compact and beautifully designed, so these make an awesome stand-alone gift. (Or, if the foot is large, a standout stocking stuffer.)

If you're not drinking, toast with these instead! The sound of marshmallows clinking is a thing of beauty.
