#mouthsummerspirit: The Green Light

Cucumbers and lime – it’s a combination with great, ahem, a-peel.

This gorgeous green simple-to-mix cocktail is sweet, tart and super refreshing. And it never fails to makes us feel like we’re on vacation.

The Green Light
2.25 oz Celebration Distillation White Rum
.5 oz fresh lime juice
.5 oz fresh cucumber juice
.5 oz light simple syrup (1 part sugar, 2 parts water)

cucumber slice for garnish

1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
3. Fine strain into a coupe glass and garnish with cucumber slice.

It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that the Mouth team was fighting over the leftovers in the pitcher after our photo shoot. Hey, it was 5 o’clock and green means go, right?
