Puff Piece: A Cheesy Love Letter

We’ve spent what feels like forever just searching. Searching up and down grocery store aisles, sorting through microwaveable popcorn that falsely promises “movie theater flavor,” greasy potato chips that threaten LDL levels, and oh-so-many -itos covered in what turns out to be, sigh, just fake orange cheese.

But, not long ago, we found the snack of our dreams: Fuller Foods’ indie cheesy poofs, in Sriracha Cheddar, Blue Cheese Jalapeño and the brand-new, totally awesome Asiago Black Pepper flavor we’re huffing and puffing over! 

From Portland, Oregon, and made with Bob’s Red Mill corn grits in America’s only micro-cheese puffery, they’re lovingly baked (not fried!) then tossed in safflower oil and seasoned with antibiotic-free Asiago cheese, cracked black pepper, garlic and a little mild white pepper.

It’s a new indie take on our go-to childhood snack. Our own kids can’t imagine a car trip or picnic in the park without the whole trio, and that’s saying something (those little Mouths are picky!).

Yes, we’ve found our snacking soulmate. Can someone help take down our eHarmony profile?
