Little Bird Chocolates

Ah, necessity, the mother of invention. Sara Meyer was deep in the throes of a holiday baking jag when the oven broke. A chocolate-dipping frenzy ensued, which inspired her to learn how to properly temper chocolate (so it would look all shiny and pretty), and then how to preserve fruits and nuts in a candy coating.

This all led up to one fateful day when, faced with a surfeit of jalapeños, she thought – why not candy them? This discovery was so huge, so hot, so sweet, Sara and her husband Corey really had no choice. How could they not share candied jalapeños and chocolate-covered candied jalapeños with the rest of us? Little Bird Chocolates was born.
