The Pickett Brothers were raised in Cleveland, Ohio, during that wonderful era when any gathering was an excuse for a good cocktail. While their parents mixed Moscow Mules, the boys would create their own faux cocktails from colorful sodas stocked for the younger set. All three brothers made forays into the world of food and beverage, but they only found their true calling when they teamed up to create an all-natural soda and syrup company in Brooklyn. They started with a spicy and refreshing ginger syrup, which recreates the barrel-aged ginger beers of their youth. It also happens to be an ingredient for some of the greatest and easiest classic cocktails. Dark and Stormy, anyone?
