Whimsy & Spice

Mark Sopchak, a chef, and Jenna Park, a graphic designer, were taken by surprise in 2008 by a..."sudden unemployment situation." It was time to take a leap and start their own thing. Mark got to work crafting delicious, spice-inspired cookies and treats while Jenna designed their packaging and began building a brand. They promised to debut at the first-ever Brooklyn Flea and apparently their 14 years of combined professional experience was put to good use, as they had to get it all done in just two weeks. Today, they are the ultimate Brooklyn small-batch success story, proving that sometimes losing your job is not so bad.
