Greenpoint Trading Company

We’ve had our hungry eye on Greenpoint Trading Co. since we spotted their fragrant seasonings and spice blends at Brooklyn Eats, the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s annual food show (yes, they carry the chamber's "Brooklyn Made" certification).

Kimmee Arndt, formerly in photo production, and Evan Hoffman, a veteran of the spice market, started blending spices to complement their shared experiences, but with a more healthful approach in mind. All of their rubs are low in salt, and two are even completely salt-free. They actually started Brooklyn Spice Company to provide these products wholesale to food manufacturers and restaurants, then expanded to create a straight-to-consumer business, Greenpoint Trading Company.

Their space in the Greenpoint neighborhood is home to machines that are capable of producing 25,000 pounds of spice blend at a time!
