Valerie Confections was founded by partners Valerie Gordon and Stan Weightman in 2004. Valerie had established an impressive career working in both the front and back of the house in California farm-to-table restaurants. But her childhood love of decadent sweets was only truly fulfilled when she dedicated herself to the wonderful world of confections.
The Valerie Confections boutique and factory is located just outside downtown Los Angeles, and the city is a frequent inspiration. Valerie collaborated with innovative LA design firm Commune to produce her giant, gorgeous dark milk chocolate fruit and nut bar.
