Matthew Rorick was inspired by his grandfather’s love of sharing a bottle of wine over a leisurely meal. He earned a degree in Viitculture & Enology at UC Davis. He worked with wineries all over the world to learn more about natural winemaking, wines produced with minimal interruption of their natural development. He tries to bring out the terroir (sense of place) in each wine, by making small batches from tiny lots of grapes.
