Josh Morton spent years working on the recipe for his signature ginger liqueur. He perfected it in his loft on Barrow Street in Manhattan which is where Barrow’s Intense Ginger gets its name, but now he produces the spirit along the Brooklyn waterfront. He buys the ginger from a local produce shop and prepares it all by hand, taking the time to ensure it’s ready for an amazing infusion. Unlike many larger companies, he has no plans to expand to other flavors. He’s content to perfect the perfect ginger liqueur.
