Todd Hardie was a well-respected honey producer for over 40 years before he first experimented with fermenting the honey to try making mead (wine from honey). Later on he bought recycled stainless steel to build his own still to distill cold-fermented honey into vodka. Plus, he distills grain into gin and adds his honey right before bottling as a botanical. His mission behind distilling is to employ local people and further support local agriculture.
