Eat, Drink And Be indie: Tasty Recipes, Inspiring Maker Stories & Exclusives Served Daily

Tatoosh Distillery & Spirits

Joe Eliasen and Troy Turner, two friends from Seattle, Washington, turned a casual comment into a distillery. They realized that the Pacific Northwest has the perfect conditions for producing indie spirits – everything from the climate, to the water, to the grains. With Troy’s family tradition of moonshining in Louisiana, they had a real “little black book” of 100-year-old recipes to form the foundation of their recipes. And their whiskey shows off the best of their location and history.
