Tayberry JamMADE BY INNA JAM IN EMERYVILLE, CALIFORNIA
Tayberry jam tastes like a pitch perfect version of a 50/50 raspberry-blackberry cross—the berry flavor is both fresh and rich, and the sweetness level is just right. Plus, whoever gets to eat a tayberry in any other form? –Tina Ujlaki, Executive Food Editor, Food & Wine Magazine
Indeed, tayberries, where have you been all our lives?! This juicy, delicate, hard-to-find berry has to be harvested by hand – hence their rarity. INNA Jam gets their fruit straight from the farmer and all within 150 miles of their Emeryville kitchen. They stick to single varieties from a single source, so each batch is a distillation of a particular place and a particular season (berry terroir!). They also use super-ripe berries and less sugar, so the essence of each fruit can really shine through. We're inna love with INNA jam!
tip of the tongue
This juicy jam is great on a classic PB&J, but its blackberry notes also make it particularly great with chocolate. Try a dessert sandwich with some Dude Sweet Chocolate Hazelnut spread (ok, we'd eat this for breakfast and lunch, too).
