Indonesia Java Sunda



Like all the best Indonesian coffees, this is a complex, fascinating brew. It has an almost tannic flavor that reminds us of roasty walnut skins or dark red grapes. We think it's perfect for sipping while reading a good book or gazing moodily out of a window.

The beans come from small holder farmers in the mountainous region around the beautiful city of Bandung in West Java, and they're processed at the Klasik Beans Cooperative.

We like to break this coffee out for friends who like really dark chocolate and unusual red wines. 

Light-medium roast; ateng, jember and typica varities; fully washed and dried on raised beds in bamboo greenhouses; grown 1200 meters above sea level and up. Whole beans, comes in a 12 oz bag.
