SHIPPING INFORMATION

Mouth is open wide and ships worldwide!

SHIPPING TIME

Your order takes 3-5 business days to process, though we do our best to be as quick as possible. Once our common carrier picks up the package, it takes 1-5 business days for orders to be delivered.

ID, LA, ND, NE, OK, SD, Canada: 4 business days
AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, TX, UT, WY, WA: 5 business days
The rest of the world: It depends on the distance.

 

SHIPPING COSTS
NON-ALCOHOLIC ITEMS

Standard Shipping is $10, but free for orders containing over $75.

For orders containing temperature-sensitive products (like chocolate during the summer and salami and cheese year-round), there is a surcharge of $8-35 for special packaging and expedited shipping.

Orders outside the contiguous 48 States have additional surcharges, as follows:

Canada: $20.

Alaska or Hawaii: $65.

Everywhere else in the galaxy: $115.

Note: For large international shipments, shipping + handling will be determined on a case by case basis. Email info@mouth.com for more information. 

If you order more than $75, shipping is free. However, all surcharges still apply.

Due to New York State law, alcohol must be shipped in a separate box from non-alcoholic products. And yes, that means you're going to get two tracking numbers if you order alcoholic products and non-alcoholic products.

 

SPIRITS + WINE
Standard Shipping is $10 + $2/bottle, but free for orders containing over $200 in alcohol.

All alcohol orders have an additional $5 surcharge to cover the cost of the legally-required signature by someone over the age of 21 at the recipient's address. 

Now, for some additional fun stuff our lawyers suggest you know: You, the buyer, assume title to and ownership of the wines/spirits once purchased from Mouth.com. By arranging transportation by a common carrier, we are providing a service to you and acting on your behalf. You are solely responsible for determining the legality and tax consequences of having wines/spirits shipped to you. Certain states prohibit the direct importation of alcohol. Hence, we are currently not shipping alcohol to AL, AK, AR, CT, DE, FL, HI, KY, MA, MS, NH, ND, PA, RI, SD, UT, VT, WV, APO/FPO addresses, or anywhere outside of the United States.

All orders containing alcohol are shipped via common carrier and are sent with an "Adult Signature Required" label. The common carrier will only deliver the package if someone over the age of 21 can sign this label upon receipt.

We strongly suggest that all products containing alcohol be shipped to a business address.

Subscription Shipping info

As soon as an order is placed for a Subscription Club, we send out a "Welcome Kit" in a mini tote which includes information about the shipping schedule, a gift message and tasty Mouth candies to kick things off. Subscriptions are then curated and shipped around the middle of each month, packed in our signature cotton tote along with a few surprises.

The first box will be sent depending on when during the month the order is placed. After the goodies leave our Brooklyn warehouse, depending on where the box is being sent, it will arrive within a week (see above for transit timing). Thus, the recipient may receive the first box shortly; or, because of the timing, may be waiting until the next month for it to arrive.

NOTE: If you are the recipient of a subscription containing alcohol, each delivery (except for the welcome packet) will be sent with an "Adult Signature Required" sticker. The common carrier will only deliver the package if someone over the age of 21 can sign this label upon receipt.

Temperature-Sensitive Products

As described above, there are surcharges for any order containing products that require refrigeration (like chocolate in the summer and cheese and salami year-round), to make sure your goodies arrives in perfect shape. This includes the cost of expedited shipping. 

These orders are shipped only on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday to prevent weekend delays. Orders scheduled for shipment after Wednesday evening will be held until the following Monday.

Returns

We're all about tasting at Mouth.

And it's possible you're going to taste one of our products and not love it (though we try really, really hard to make sure that's not the case). We're sorry, but we can't take something back just because you don't like the taste. But we're reasonable people. Just send a note to help@mouth.com and we'll figure out a way to make things right. We want you to be happy and keep on tasting.

If you wish to return an alcoholic beverage because you believe it was damaged before or during transit, please reseal the bottle and contact us at info@mouth.com.

Privacy and Security

We value your privacy as much as we value our own privacy, if not more. We're not going to sell, give away or otherwise abuse your email address or any other information that you give us. No credit card information is saved with your account. That means you have to enter it with every transaction, but it is more secure.
