Combine 2 oz rye, .5 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice, .25 oz simple syrup made with bourbon smoked sugar and 4 sage leaves in cocktail shaker with ice. Shake and strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube. Pouring slowly over the back of the bar spoon, add .75 oz triple smoke whiskey to float on top. Garnish with sage leaf.
