Sunflower Oil

It may sound corny, but this oil is pure sunshine. You won’t believe the burst of sunflower scent that wafts up from the bottle. And taste a little bit on a spoon – it’s like eating freshly roasted sunflower seeds or sunsprouts from the greenmarket. This cold pressed, unrefined oil is made in upstate New York with locally grown non-GMO sunflowers.

We should mention that sunflower oil is a versatile high oleic oil that is 84% monounsaturated (so It can raise HDL levels), high in Vitamin E, and ideal for cooking with it's 400 degree smoke point. 

Tip of the Tongue

We cook everything in this oil, but are especially loving it with verjus or vinegar from Wölffer Estates in a killer salad dressing.
