With loads of festive spices, a hint of bourbon, and still-slightly crisp pieces of fresh New York state apples, you'll be scraping the bottom of the jar. In fact, since the girls made such a small quantity this year, you may want to scoop up two jars while you can.

We've been eating it straight from the jar, but we it's also perfect atop a nice, fresh cheese like ricotta or chevre. Warm it up a bit, and serve alongside a juicy pork chop for a sweet-savory dinner.
