We love nuts! And we've been searching for just the right nut to add to our mix of handcrafted indie foods. We chose Schermers because not only are their pecans the best we've ever tasted – rich and savory with a satisfying crunch – the family and farm also has an equally tasty story.

Based in Georgia, the Schermer family are fifth generation growers and third generation owners. They’ve been tending to their orchard for over a century now and are one of the only family-run pecan companies to harvest, shell and roast their own product. This devotion to production shines through every nibble. A true all-American treat.

Roasted Salted Pecans

Keep a sack in your desk for a good afternoon protein pick-me-up. They're also awesome in salads, on top of sundaes, or chopped into your favorite quick bread recipe. And pie. Don't get us started on pie.

Chocolate Coated Pecans

A Grandma's candy bowl kind of treat, in the very best way. The best pecans on earth, enrobed in a generous coat of milky chocolate, we found them to be dangerously addictive. We should tell you to proceed with caution, but really we'd rather you go ahead and indulge with abandon.

ingredients : Pecans, milk chocolate, hydrogenated vegetable oil, salt. Comes in a charming 12 oz drawstring sack.

Cinnamon Sugar Pecans

The best pecans, roasted with a hint of salt before receiving a sweet candy coating in Schermers old-school, 1940s copper caldrons, and then hand-tossed in a healthy amount of vanilla sugar and cinnamon. Crisp, sweet, delicious. Great for snacking, they would also make an incredible pie or crumble topper. Or even just a big scoop of vanilla. Dessert is served.
