Rhubarb Syrup

MADE BY MORRIS KITCHEN IN BROOKLYN, NEW YORK

MOUTH SAYS...

Tangy and bright, this syrup tastes like spring. The hint of rhubarb's almost vegetal flavor makes it a great, grown-up sipper when mixed with your favorite spirit, or even just seltzer.

It's sweet enough to swap in for simple syrup, so it's a great addition to a cocktail bar.

tip of the tongue

Here's a swanky but simple cocktail idea: Mix the syrup with vodka, lemon and a little seltzer.

It also makes a delicious glaze for shortbread cookies: Drizzle some into powdered sugar in equal parts with lemon juice until it reaches a gooey, spreadable consistency.

Apple cider vinegar, organic cane sugar, rhubarb, hibiscus, water. Comes in an 8 oz bottle.
