New Hampshire-based Suss Sweets is truly a family affair. Confectioner (caramel-etier?) Tammy Fahey makes the sweets, her husband cuts them, and their daughter wraps and labels the finished pieces. Though she's been making them for nearly a decade, she's only been selling commercially since 2010, and we're so grateful – they're pure sticky fun and we simply can't get enough of her creative, intense seasonal flavors. Their rather humongous size makes for a perfectly dramatic, whimsical hostess gift.
Pumpkin Sea Salt Caramel
Pepitas bring a pleasant, slight crunch and a delicate touch of pumpkin pie spices make for an elegant and oh-so-Autumnal treat.
Cinnamon Apple Caramel
This sweet occupies some sort of dreamy, happy place between a slice of apple pie and a caramel apple. Spiced with cinnamon and other traditional pie spices as well as apple essences, chase a nibble of this with a sip of hot cider and be in crunchy-leaves-and-harvest-moon heaven.
