Black Olive TapenadeMADE BY THE GRACIOUS GOURMET IN CONNECTICUT
Something about olive tapenade always transports us back to Tuscany, where we backpacked and ate our way through one outdoor market after another. We'd find ourselves among endless rows of perfect local fruits, thick slabs of patés, incredible breads, then would grab the best of everything. A chunky but spreadable tapenade would round out a perfect Italian meal, eaten atop a crumbling stone wall....ahhhhh.
This is an amazingly yummy tapenade that tastes pure and vivid and salty and Tuscany-y. You will love it.

Serve on toasted slices of baguette. Whisk into olive oil for a lovely richly flavored salad dressing. Pair with Spanish and Italian cheeses or pair with an omelet.
